Choosing College Majors for International Students

International students should choose their college majors very carefully. Extra attention should be given if those students want to work in the United states after their graduation. There are great powerpoints available on the web on recent OPT changes which allows an extension of OPT for STEM ( Science , Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ).

Here is the list of the highest paying majors which should give students additional info on choosing their majors. Personally, I would recommend engineering degrees to everyone. As you can see 7 of the 10 highest paying degrees have to do with engineering.

Moral of the post: Choose STEM majors and avoid liberal arts degrees like the plague.
